Stink Bug Extermination PA

This stink bug extermination program consists of treating all cracks and crevices around the exterior of the house. The main focus is around doors, windows, siding, soffit areas, flashings around chimneys, etc. Then the application of a specific material that has two modes of action: a quick knock down to immediately reduce the population upon contact and a residual effect that will last for two to three weeks. This material is applied by a special piece of equipment that allows us to reach the upper second and third levels of most homes.

Some Stink Bug Facts

Stink Bugs emerge in the spring and lay eggs from May through August. According to a study by Penn State, they will only reproduce outdoors. They tend to congregate on the west/south sides of the home in order to find the sunniest side.

They lay eggs on the underside of leaves in masses of 20 - 30 eggs and they can destroy gardens and crops.

Because Stink Bugs are an overwintering insect, in September/October they enter homes in search of a protected place to hibernate.

The bugs will enter your home through the smallest of crack/crevices and hide behind baseboards, in drawers and bedding.

Stink bugs have scent glands on their abdomen, and release the scent defensively. If they are threatened they will release an offensive odor, which attracts more bugs.
